What I underestimated was how challenging riding in the dirt is. I now go to a gym 3 times a week as I said I will give it another try after the 2011 season. Enduro is demanding and exhausting. After 5 minutes in the rough I thought I have to die. It had 90° F and in 3 hours I drank 4 liters (thats a gallon!) of water, one liter isotonic drinks and two bottles of Heiniken. And I was only on the lav once! The rest I lost through my skin. Sweat, sweat, sweat and a lot of tears. Man thats so exhausting. But fun, great fun.
