This little gallery is for those of you who are not familiar with what fall and winter look like in the Bay Area. Fall and winter here are more subtle than in the snow belt (I know what I'm talking about, having survived several Minnesota winters), but they nevertheless form a distinct part of the year with its own charms.
About the locations: we currently live in an apartment next to the Almaden Lake Park in South San Jose. The Los Alamitos Creek trail connects Almaden Lake Park south to the IBM Almaden Research Center property. A path through the IBM property leads into the Santa Teresa County Park. The photos are mostly from these areas.
I sincerely like this gallery, pictures are technically very well taken, framing and perspective are never banal and there is a great attention to light.
I like your choice to offer a view over the seasons feature in landscape.
