Turbaco

Turbaco has a population of roughly 100,000 and is located near Cartagena de Indias. The road to Turbaco seems to begin with the cemeteries on the outskirts of Cartagena. The outskirts of Turbaco are owned by 3-wheeled moto rikshas. Many houses are adorned by pillars of, let's say, eclectic styling. The main plaza is dominated by a cathedral and a giant tree. The city is surrounded by fincas that offer food and entertainment for weekend guests from Cartagena and Barranquilla. We went there one Saturday with Alexis, Nicolas, and Hugo Flores.
