The image has a wonderfully Eastern character from the simplicity of its composition. The illumination from behind the leaves adds a gossamer lightness. The fruit stems remind me of the stick figures you sometimes see in petroglyphs, as if some ancient meaning were being conveyed by the branch. It's quietly beautiful.
