St Augustine's Catholic Church Bourke street

This relatively small 1869-1870 built Catholic church is one of only two in Melbourne's Central Business District. Malmsbury bluestone used in the church (Malmsbury is 100 kilometres north of Melbourne on the Bendigo rail line). Built in the Victorian period in the Neo-Gothic style.

other sizes: small medium large original auto

It may be surrounded by taller, modern buildings but it certainly holds it's own for style and sheer presence.
