Most cultures have social or religiously inspired rules
around eating. Hindu’s do not eat meat because they
view animals as reincarnations of humans. Jews and
Muslims do not eat pork because they see the pig as
a filthy animal. Western society frowns on the eating
of dog because of anthropomorphism.
