My old log cabin in Rimini, Montana, at the base of Red Mountain. The porch is new since I moved out back in 1992, and I've heard that the yard and foundation were replaced by the government as part of a mandatory reclamation project. The reclamation project also tore down beautiful old pine trees and hops vines that had shaded the property for decades. I used to cook on an antique wood cookstove and my water source was a mountain spring that was gravity fed into my kitchen from the hillside above the house. My favorite place on earth.
