Outstanding work Nancy. Excellent treatment rendered to make it interesting. Vote.

Rod sums it up well, Nancy. Your image is about changing one thing into another and creating symbolic meaning in the process. You ask your viewers to become a spiritual force, leaving the reality of life (bare, dead branches) for another, more spiritual world that floats in the darkness beyond.

Extreme! Well done graphic piece Nancy. The G10!

Surely we would be lost
Among the stars,
Were it not for our journey
Etched as destiny.

Thanks Jim, Rajan, Chris & Zeev ...

As Chris guessed, it is, indeed, "a branch over water" ... and it was from the very bright and beautiful New Year's Day we had here in Tennessee. I shot down into the water focusing on a beautiful slab of rock. When I looked at the image later, I was inspired to abstract it. The reflections on the water combined with the abstracted stone transformed into something more nebula-like. I then rotated the image to place the "nebula" into the "sky."

Intresting concept - I like it :)

A nice, abstract image. Just looking at it keeps you occupied and entertained while you ponder the exact combination of elements (Is it a tree branch over water?).
