This is interesting: it shows motion (hairbrushing) but is inactive ... she is thinking, feeling ?, but the picture doesn't lack energy.
The figure has softness, but the shoulders and the dark face give a different feeling to .. her hands are quite small to be brushing lots of hair. Or is that just a sign of her detachment?
