This morning, in the early hours, the sky was gray and bland as the SandHillCranes began to arrive in the fields for breakfast. The water fowl were numerous and quite agitated with the weather since the conditions had kicked in that natural mating sensation in the hens and drakes. Much later as the hordes of wildlife began their daily roaming of the Refuge territory the sun finallly broke out from behind the dense cloud cover.....but by then 8G of photos had been taken and the flashdrive was full. Now it was time for my breakfast and the joys that come at Christmas Eve with friends and family. Merry Christmas to all and a time to reflect on the positives of life.
