Today we had our bi-monthly bird count to see how the migratory species were arriving at the Refuge area and whatever else we can observe. All in all our vehicle was doing well covering the harvested fields and woods....that is until we experienced a flat tire. Luckily, my 220 weight proved a postive in that it took all of it to break loose the lug nuts after the impact wrench used by the tire people was set on "weld". While traveling on after the tire change, the spare blew and we were left with only three good tires and a rim.....so our zone was counted short.

I am posting just the few shots that were taken between tire issues. Hopefully, the Service will have installed better rubber next week. Sorry for the limited shots.
