Extremely dry within the refuge, TennRiver down to Winter Pool, no rain in sight, farmers gathering their portion of the beans and corn, warm weather not much to photograph but there is life to take photos of....if you just look closely enough. Latest count shows the initial flying in of Sandhills, Green Wing Teals, and such.....but the observation pond is almost dry with lotus covering the surface.........hopefully Fall rains will arrive shortly to fill it over the lotus.
