Fall is beginning to creep into WNWR but until the cold snap really comes with some real downpours of rain the leaves will remain on the trees. Even though the leaves are pretty now, they will make bow hunting a little difficult from a tree stand. On this date I took a few photos of the tree conditions along White Springs Road and the Visitor Center so the yomen can see that it will be a challenage this year to get another State record size deer if they plan on just working within the wooded areas. Still all in all it is a wonderful time of the year just to walk, look, or bike the area that are not off limits once the migratory Wintering species arrive.
