Instead of morning visits to the Visitor Center's Observation Building, I elected to not do a "walk about" in the P. M. but see what is "shake'n" at the VCOB. Not much light so a slow shutter for moving targets...but the obseration pond is now full of foodstuffs and soon the water will rise higher and the waterfowl with start arriving in larger numbers. Even though afternoon pick'ns are slow now...this down down is a good time to shake-down the new 7D and plan locations for the Winter Months to document the wildlife staying the Winter with us.
