Area extremely dry due to a lack of rain, the observation pond water level is ankle deep for about 50% of the area, but rain is on the way. But in the mean time all species are searching for any moisture they can locate....well except for the turtles in the pond and the lonely Grebe who does not have enough water to completely dive for crawfish. Starting October 1st, a new gallery will be established for fiscal year 2014-2015.
