A quiet but beautiful time in the Refuge wandering the service roads and trails. While the undergrowth hampers some bird watching and the "migratories" have not started arriving....there are still pockets of beauty and wonderment with the insects, flowers, reptiles, and small mammals. Of course, there are still youth activities for enviromental/woodland education such as the Fawn program and the fishing within the waterways of the Refuge.
