Today was an interesting day. It started off with a rat snake in one of the bluebird boxes (box was empty before the snake entered it; then found rat snakes mating; then a visit to the observation building where the pond is being drained for maintenance work; then a small party of young people being taught to fish at the back catfish pond, and finally a visit with Gracie (the Osprey) who has now hatched to chicks......a good day.
