Today was a mixed day at WNR. Day starts with a benefit bass finishing tournament on the Wheeler Lake portion of the Tennesse River, a Rapture Program at the Welcome Center, and a little activity on the Observation Pond by the Yellow-Crowned Night Herons. All in all a good day for the young and the mature. (NOTE: After the tournment, the bass and the one catfish was released back into the river system. Largest bass was a little over 8 lbs. Total bass weight slightly over 450 pounds and the catfish weighed right at 50 lbs. 53 boats registered for this benefit event.)
