Today besides the normal wildlife Spring activity of observing wild life, hiking, walking with a leashed pet, or just skipping along a path; WNR held the Youth Fishing Rodeo at the back pond located near the WNR Visitor Center. This annual event bring youth 3 to 11 with their parents, single parents, grandparents, and brothers/sisters for a morning of fun and learning a little about outdoor sports that aren't issued with keypads. A good time for bonding as a family. fishing is strictly for the youngsters with guidance from the family and friends.
