Today was a mixed treat. Prior to dawn's light I arrived just as the young Canada Geese were waking up moving from the mature Canada parents. With no light it was a challenge to capture the image even though I had the camera set on the maximum ISO. As light progressed and dawn arrived I understood why these four geese were nesting so close to my location. Just across the way perched on the Osprey stand were two mature Bald Eagles looking for breakfast. The two young ones are the last of the brood since the other ones had been taken by the eagles.

At 8 A.M. the youth fishing rodeo was held for the youngsters ages 5 to 12. The event was a success with a moderate turn out, in fact the youngest child caught our albino catfish for a special rodeo prize....the fish was return to the pond to grow for next years event.

All in all a great morning with the youth both human and wild life variety.
