This year's assignments were mainly a bust. One and half day of good weather with the exception of very low hanging clouds and the "mist" which limited wildlife shooting time before the "leaf watchers" and vehicles, loaded city folk, began gridlocking the roadways as each stopped and gawked at a single yearling or a person looking through a camera lens. Nothing wrong with them being in a National Park except for the fact that it appears these "fish-out-of-water" folks have little consideration or courtesy towards the other people visiting this public lands.
While the rain and very early snow hampered taking quality photos of wildlife and scenery......the people celebrating Halloween never lost-a-beat in letting the wee-one and themselves enjoy the moment in this annual event at the little city of Gatlinburg. While an unusual trip this year, all in all just taking snapshots was a relaxing way to spend 5 days enjoying the sights and sounds our Lord has created for eyes and soul.
