A young Southern Ringneck snake. This little fella was resting on the floor in my office at BeauxPoint..After photography it was returned to the woods to grow and feast on young snakes, worms, and bugs. Not to common of a sight in this neck of the woods. Total length of this new born was just short of six inches.
