August Dog-Days are here at the Point. High today in the shade registered 102.5 deg.f and when this and the next photo was taken the temp was 99.3.......Shortly after the setting sun dropped below the ridge, the breeze created from the lack of sun on the water crossed the lack heading towards the sun and cooled the Point's temp to around 87 degrees f. An amazement of nature as the final wind of the day crosses the water as it tries to catch the sun.
