To make room for the additional eaglet, the adults are enlarging their nest to accomodate the fast growing chicks and themselve. According to the "books" this nest could in time weigh somewhere around two thousand pounds.........at any event it appears these two adults are very responcible in their duties of increasing their line of the Bald Eagle families.
