For several days now the weather has been in the high 90s with water reflection pushing the temp to well over 100. No rain, soooooooo.....the "hummers" and the wasp, hornets, bees and such have been competing for the "honeywater". This fact makes morning hummer-monitoring interesting since the little birds give these stinging insects much respect and room. Until BeauxPoint gets a series of rain, the little fellas will really have to work to get nurisment. So far 6 seperate hummers have been identified on this one dry and foilageless spot on the blue marble.
