The Bald Eagle eaglet practiceing his landing techniques as the flaps from a spot on the lower limb (in the photo) for a distance of about 20 feet. His fartheres flight that we observed so far has been about 50 feet to it and a series of "flaps and hops" from limb to limb to get back to the nest.
