This American Bald Eagle was shot and the left wing had to be removed so the bird would live. The bird is now over 30 years old and has been kept by Wings to Soar for much of it's life. incidentally this eagle does fly.......the pilot of a hang-glider built a special harness for the Eagle so it can fly with him on the hang-glider. A movie and book has been made to document the life and events of this national emblem of our Country. It is a moving experience to be with this bird and see the character of this Eagle.
