An immature Bald Eagle hunting for breakfast this morning as the alert waterfowl fly from his area of hunting. Unfortunately a female Northern Shoveler was more interested in feed too and the next photos show the results.

While this happened almost at the extreme limit of my lens, it still documents the power of a Bald Eagle snatching a fully grown duck. (Sorry of the lack of sharpness,,,,,but,,,the Immature failed to fill me in before he served breakfast to himself.)
