Now that Labor day is over the lake level is drops in order for this area to get ready for the late Winter and early Spring rains. Currently the lake is about 10 feet below lake level with another five or six feet left to lower. This fact of Nature preparation is one reason this lake is one of the toughest locations to sport fish since the shoreline can change daily.
