This crusier was the Big Bubba which was the next inline water craft that I soloed when I was 16 years old. It had twin screws, a farward sleepign area, kitchen, dining area, and the back open area could be "buttoned-up" with curtains for Winter weather.A teenager's dream dating machine that a hippie's van could never equal during the "flowerchild era".
The Small Bubba was a 14 foot inboard ski boat, the Bubba was a 26 foot Chris Craft speedboat, so it was natural to call this craft the BB. The picture was taken at our home on the Tennessee River as Judy & Jr had a holiday party on Summer before I gained private access to using it. Later Dad obtained a 55 footer which the famiely enjoyed for a number of years before moving to BeauxPoint. The photo reminds me of the serious responcibility that was place on a young lad's shoulder while still enjoying life to the fullest.
