The historic family house on my Father's side. He, his brothers, and sister were born in this house since there were no hospitals in those days in the city. The house was built in 1912. Prior to WWII he second floor was used (when the city set up a city school system) to house school teachers who were single so as to protect their virtues since the town was a half way overnight point for travelers switching trains going to various parts of the South and the city had a large numner of saloons.
