During a rare snow the frontal view of the cabin from where lake level would be in the Spring. During flood stage the water can rise to the base of the oak tree located almost in the center of this photo. A quiet peaceful place in the Fall, Winter, and early Spring....but I have stopped going out in the canoe or outboard boat during Summer week-ends due to the increase of pleasure boating at this end of the lake. The lake is a heaven for serious fishing persons who compete in large winning purses several times during a year.
