The exiles of Germany who were making a new County and Cities in the State of Alabama had a men fraternal organization. Some of these men had immigrated from Germany and first settled in the Northern States....others hard working serious men migrated from Germany as Wilhelm family restructured that country into various classes whose freedoms were now limited. Interesting enought, during WWI and WWII the sons of these men were some of the first United States soldiers to join the fight against the German forces and later the Nazi forces. The pledges as citizens of the United States were almost equal to their pledges to our Lord.
