As with any improvement to business or other entity, the effects of weather and time brings upon repair and continued maintenance. The Refuge is a living business requires constance work to allow the public to enjoy these facilities and allow the WNWR personnel to protect and provide for our national wildlife and the history of their being a part of our history. This flood control point has been worn by the changes in the river flow over the years and now is being repaired.
