On this date while shaving I noticed one of my Bald Eagles circling and diving at the water in front of BeauxPoint. After about 5 minutes of this activity, I really got curious about why an Eagle would continue to dive at the water.....so I dug out my trusty Canon and took a few frames from the front porch. What I found was a lone Coot trying to cross the lake and the Eagle trying to secure breakfast. Needless to say every time the Eagle would swoop the Coot would dive.

This went on for about 10 more minutes with the two birds parting ways with neither the winner in the contest. The next few frames document this humorour event at the Point.
