A pair of American Kestrels mating. Unlike the waterfowl, the mating of these two are just a matter of seconds as the female presents herself with her tail feathers raised and the male quickly hovers to consumate the event. They then go to opposite areas of the perch and just look at each other quickly and then begin searching for another meal.
