Good results on your first outing, Virginia. How do you like it so far? Yes, they have changed some things, especially from the mid-range models, like D22, D300, and D700. Some controls are more like what is found on D90 and D7000. So less change for someone moving up from them. More drastic from those I mentioned. But controls are such that they are easy to get used to. The only one that bugs me is the reversal of the Exposure Compensation bar. One goes the opposite way for plus and minus from other Nikons, including my D7000. I tend to go the wrong direction with it. Don't know why they changed that.
