This is Roxanne's original Pet Trekker caption written by her Dad:
"Roxanne is a very sweet and gentle Collie-Husky mix who is almost 12 years old. Her family got her in Ohio when she was 1 year-old. She's a veteran hiker who enjoys wearing booties when she goes out for walks on Mt. Lemmon and Madeira Canyon. Roxanne has been full-timing for the last 4 years and has done a lot of traveling. Her dad says, "She's the best dog I've ever had and I've had a lot of dogs. She doesn't growl, bark, or bite. If I drop her leash while we'll walking, she'll always stop and wait."

Roxanne passed away shortly after this photo was taken. Her family still lives in the park with Liddy, a Black Lab, who owns the Voyager record of holding the most tennis balls at one time.
