This 25 MW farm is one of 5 wind projects in Oregon. All together they produce 255 megawatts of electricity. This farm, built by Northwestern Wind Power, came online in 2001 and its GE turbines give clean power to 6100 homes.

Situated amid the rolling wheat fields, one local farmer said of the area, "If the wind's not blowing, it's thinking about it."
