Medemblik is a picturesque village in the Noord Holland Province.
It is on the IJsselmeer, the largest freshwater lake in Western Europe.
Many of the buildings are from the 17th and 18th centuries.

We visited Medemblik twice during our trip. This is the station where we got off the steam train.
