I used to watch my Grandmother crochet, the rhythm of the hook winding through the thread - a wonderful talent to have. I'm looking forward to seeing it completed.

It looks lovely as do the hands! Is that the popcorn stitch? My mother made things like this. (By the way, I dreamed about my mother last week ~ she was at a ballgame, standing in the bleachers headed for the front row. When she saw me, she hugged me and then threw her head back, laughing; she said, "I'm so happy!")

love the photo and I bet that is so pretty and soft.. I've never tried a pattern like that.. bet my tension would be all over the place. anyway wonderful shot and fun seeing it grow!

Nice shot and pattern. My mother does this but at 86 she can only do for a few minutes at a time, it hurts her hands.
