May Challenge: Memories

I got out of my car this morning and was immediately surrounded
by the fragrance of these lilacs, beautiful in their half-opened
state. Their perfume reminded me of a night when my best friend, Patti,
and I went to dinner. Afterwards, we drove through Highland Park
with the car windows rolled down so that we could take in the sweet smells.
