After doing some Christmas shopping today at the mall, I got the car from the parking lot and proceeded to pick up my wife at the front doors. While trying to cross the exit this 'lovely' young lady (driving) who could have very easily let me cross the intersection in the parking lot, decided her time was too valuable and pulled in front, only to be stopped by a red light. I mouthed “thanks” and pulled my car up. She, thinking I was going to hit her, she refused to proceed until I backed up. Stalemate. If you know me, there’s one thing I am – stubborn. So 15 minutes (not estimated, actual minutes, she is honked/swore at by many other people too) passes and finally I break the stalemate – by pulling out a Canon 1D mk II N with a 100-400mm zoom and point it right at her. Before she and her mother can raise thier hands over their faces and squeal away, I capture this.
