On June 6th Lewis County Chapter of the Backcountry Horsemen of Washington members congregated at the Packwood Lake trial head with the idea of clearing area trails. Packwood Lake is located in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest in the Washington State Cascade Mountains. Crews were split up to wilderness and non-wilderness crews and the trails to the lake and along the lake were cleared of winter windfalls by the end of the day.
