An enormous amount of debris goes down the Kinabatangan River, and one only sees that
which floats on the surface. Individual plants, whole plants, small floating islands of plants,
tree branches, tree trunks, whole trees, plastic bags, plastic bottles and jugs of every
description, boards, and more. The river is dependent of the tropical thunderstorms and it's
level fluctuates rapidly over a relatively short period of time.
