Large Japanese red maple - center left - took the brunt of the falling
white oak and saved us from more serious damage to the house. Corner
of the kitchen lost part of the ceiling and roof. Several holes punched
into the very top of the house and a limb went throughthe wall of the
house and into the tiled master bedroom shower. The tree was in the
100'- 120' (30 - 36 meter) range.
