I did not know these planes were still flying , replicas or not. The shots are great , i know what you mean about shooting in the cold air. I flew in a Stearman over the desert in Sedonna ,Arizona it was 95* on the ground and it felt like 30* in the air.

A friend of mine is Tony Spezio. Tony lived in southern New Jersey all his life and was
an aeronautical engineer for the Faa. He flew WW1 planes while in NJ and belonged to a club in southern Jersey. He told me a man named coy was involved with Rhineback and he had been invited to fly with them but never made it to NY.

What a small world. Tony is in the hospital and I called him tell him I sent him the link to your photos. He was very excited to see them. Tony built and designed his own airplane and several of them are still flying. Its a small world.

Most are replicas, but they are all WW1 vintage. Most, excpet the Triplane, have authentic engines which are now 85 years old. All photos were taken from an open cockpit British trainer, a DeHavilland Tiger Moth. Not scarey at all, loads of fun, but the fall shots were very, very cold!!

Man those are some unique planes Baywing. Very cool looking flying machines. They gotta be like about 70-75 yrs old huh? Great picutures any how. Were you taking picutres from a open cockpit plane yourself?? Must have been a bit scary...........
