Hand on the Throttle

Twice a year the Valley RR offers a chance to run one of their steam engines. I signed up early and decided to add the diesel to my experience. I took to the 80 ton GE switcher relatively well and did ok with the steam engine. The biggest problem I had was using my left hand/arm for most everything as I'm right-handed!
As I was running the engines, I didn't take these photos. Thanks to friend Vicki and the Engineer Paul and firemen Bill for handling the cameras.
