We had a great weekend of weather, warm and sunny. I had been to the Cog just a week before and the foliage was far from starting so I wasn't in a rush to get back. Saw a photo from the weekend posted and sure enough, looked like peak to me! I decided to go up on tuesday in spite of a less than ideal forecast; 70% cloud cover with 1% chance of rain. They say the foliage looks better on cloudy days, so I figured I could deal with it. 30 minutes after I arrived, the skies cleared and I was treated to sun for most of the morning with only an occasional cloud.
