Part of the bay is a long sandy beach overlooking the Bass Rock.
The easterly winds were driving large waves onto the beach and a few surfers had gathered to take advantage.
When I walked by, the surfers were just walking out into the waves and the scene of this guy in front of the Bass Rock demanded a picture.
